Henry is having a bout with allergies again. When he isn't feeling too hot, he likes to crawl up on our laps as we try to use the computer. We have become pretty good at typing around him, and now encourage him to join us. Henry rules!

I went back to the park to get a couple more of the Mackenzie Thorpe photographs with my better camera. I liked this one. It is just down the street from our offices.

Another from our expedition to photograph the crow migration in Westport. This shot needed very little adjustment. I thought about putting in a larger moon, but decided to leave the image as shot.

Henry would like to go outside and play with Allie, the big dog next door, but it is too cold. For now he is content to keep an eye on things. He likes his shirt, by the way. It also keeps him from scratching until we figure out his allergies.

This could easily be titled "How we spend the weekend". These little bulldogs really are the focus of our free time. All the other time is worked in around them. It is worth it though, for moments like these.

Sometimes when I read on the weekends, both the dogs want to take a nap with me at the same time. It makes reading a bit challenging. Here CJ woke them up for a picture, and neither were very happy. We were all snoring again in just a couple of minutes.

And here we are back to full-speed ahead:

CJ and some friends at work had a photography challenge with food as the subject. I was invited to participate, but was too slow in my response. This is our spice cupboard. It always scares me a bit to open, since I expect everythng to fall out. I am not sure why we have so much stuff, since we typically only use half a dozen spices, some salt and pepper.

Crows migrate through downtown Kansas City, Missouri. We hear them squawking in the morings on the way to work, and see their shadows in the treetops. We have a loudspeaker system that emits crow distress calls to send them on their way, but they still fill the trees. We took some pictures on a cold Saturday morning, which will leave me some fun for later. Here is one of them.

Here is another look at the crows, though I have played with this one a bit. The light is a bit more realistic. I will post more of these later.

My old pal, Henry.
