I went to Dallas to see Teresa and Paul Swadek this weekend. CJ was on call and had to work. The trip was a little more difficult due to bad weather on both legs of the journey. I had better than two hour delays on either end, but was determined this time to make it through after American Airlines cancelled our last vacation attempt. I went on Southwest Airlines this time. It was slow, but they did get me there and back.
It was overcast most of the time in Dallas, but I got a few photographs. Some of them are a bit soft, but the light was never ideal for photography. We mostly stayed at Paul's house, except to go out for a meal or drive around and look at the flood water. Still, it was a perfect weekend with such terrific friends. I am ready to go back, but CJ will definitely be along next time!
I will put a little commentary on the pictures later. Henry has decided to stay pretty close to me today, and it is a little difficult to type with him sitting on my lap. Every once in a while he decides to spin around and I end up starting from scratch on my typing. Still, it is nice to have him back. It looks like he his healing from the tumor removal, but did tear out some stitches over the weekend. Henry is a chore, but family now.
