Yesterday we went to the Renaissance Festival at Bonner Springs. The medieval has a decidedly country/western accent at this event. We haven't gone in a number of years but thought it was fun even if most of the costumed actors really couldn't master an English accent. Little kids are great to watch as witches, trolls, and knights engage them on the footpaths. That in itself is reason enough to go. My sister and brother-in-law joined us for a really nice day outside. Since this event is really about fantasy, I played with the images for special effect.
