Pat and I in La Cygne, the day we went back to look at our old house.

Dad's headstone at the National Cemetery in Fort Scott.

We went to Lawrence, Kansas today. Our goal was to walk along the river to look for eagles, but we spent some time at a visitor center where CJ shot this.

We were lucky to see a pair of eagles along the river. CJ was quick with the camera as they flew right over our heads.

CJ and I went to Wells Overlook just outside Lawrence, Kansas.

Gracie at naptime, with evening light to warm up by.

Self-portrait with sun aged effect. This was shot in Olathe a couple of months ago.

American Century just launched an ad campaign with Lance Armstrong. This is the banner they put on the building for a couple of weeks. Some of the neighbors have complained, but it is a neat idea.

The folks next door. The longhorns won't be there much longer, as the area is being developed residential. CJ would say 'over-developed'.

Uncle Chuck McCormick, Mom's brother. Uncle Chuck was one of our family favorites. All of us have great stories from this larger than life character. He is missed.

Dad, Peter F, "Bud".

Mom, Geraldine.

Sister, Kathleen, eldest.

Pat, the eldest brother.

Mike, middle kid.

Kevin, 2 years younger than Mike.

Brother, Robert, youngest.

Charlotte, Mike's wife.

Variation on an earlier published version, mom young and old.

I understand there are cousins looking at the site. This is Dad's parents, Pete and Elizabeth. I have just included more grandparent shots in the family gallery. If anyone has others they would share, just send them to me and I will post them for everyone to see.

The house most of us considered home, in La Cygne. Dad put the siding on the house, but overall it is much worse for wear.

The alley path to school. Dad would get furious when we cut through alleys, but we generally used this one anyway.
