What is Mike reading?

We saw the latest 007 movie, and by the way it is terrific. It inspired me to read the book, and here it is. The language in the book is a bit dated, but it is still a pretty decent story. I give it 3 of 5 on the Mike Scale.

The Tess Gerritsen book is terrific. If you haven't read The Surgeon, it is a good place to start for a very good murder mystery series. You might want to start there before The Mephisto Club, but I liked this one too. I give it 4 of 5.

The Stephen King book is in flight. It turned out to much better than I expected, even with a slow start. This is more of a sci-fi than horror story, but I will give it a 5 of 5. There is some graphic violence, and you have to be patient with it at first, but this is a great book overall.

December 2006

It is scary how fast time is flying by. This was from summer 2006 garden, only a blink of the eye away. It was definitely a tough year, one that we are willing to let go, but not without noticing how quickly it came and went.

This is how we spent Christmas 2006. It really doesn't get much better!

Gracie likes to sleep under blankets, while Henry prefers a cuddle. Here, CJ tries to please both of them on Christmas 2006.

Sometimes happiness is simply a nap in the sun!

Henry likes to stay close. If I am around, Henry is usually within a few feet. Sometimes a few feet is just too far away.

Merry Christmas!

We spent a little time with the dogs in the studio today. I was surprised to be able to get a shot with both of them fairly still. While Gracie is an old pro with the camera, Henry is just learnng.

Here is a shot of Henry by himself. We have a couple of others I really liked, but this one shows off his personality.

Here is a close up of my pal Henry. You can see a little of the blue in his right eye with this picture.
